Fish Eagle Villa

The Fish Eagle Villa provides guests with their own private piece of Africa, between the bush and Sabie River. They say if you sit long enough in the same spot you'll see a little something of all creatures great and small as they gather at the water.

This exclusive-use villa has more than enough space to spread out and make yourself completely at home. Featuring two en-suite bedrooms that can sleep four adults and another two children, each on an extra single bed in their parent’s rooms. The Fish Eagle Villa can also be booked in conjunction with the two-sleeper Bateleur Villa, allowing all eight guests to enjoy Fish Eagle’s exclusive facilities.

All areas have been carefully designed to bring people together or to give private people their own generous space. An open-plan living place including kitchen, dining and lounge area leads out to the patio, fire-pit, viewing deck, lap pool, and stargazing jetty. If the need arises, take a few hours for yourself downstairs in your private spa and gym.

About the Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Adjacent to the world-renowned Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famed for its intimate wildlife encounters, particularly leopard viewing. Home to a host of animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino), the Sabi Sand is part of a conservation area that covers over two million hectares (almost five million acres), an area equivalent to the state of New Jersey.

With no boundary fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger National Park, this reserve benefits from the great diversity of animals found in one of the richest wildlife areas on the African continent, along with the additional benefits experienced on a private game reserve.

Game drives traverse an area of 10 500 hectares (26 000 acres) and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of the game viewing experience. Sensitive off-road driving ensures that guests have the best possible view of any exceptional sighting and rangers are constantly in touch with each other to keep track of animal movements.
