Leobo Lodge is surrounded by the diverse Waterberg region and overlook the Palala Valley. The 8,000-hectare reserve is encompassed by rugged rocks, mountainous areas, bushveld savannah, rivers, gorges, an abundance of wildlife and is rich in archaeological history and Bushman paintings.
Leobo Lodge offers 9 rustic-chich chalets within this malaria-free reserve and provides the setting for an exclusive lodge positioned on the side of the escarpment overlooking the valley. At Leobo Lodge, things are done a little differently. There are no daily programs or time restrictions; guests are entertained by the team of staff as friends of the owner, and activities seamlessly blend into one another until you have done so much more than you ever imagined possible.
Accommodation at Leobo Lodge features 4 Luxury Chalets with king-size beds (3 with panoramic views and 1 with a bush view), 1 Superior Chalet with a double bed, 3 Standard Chalets with twin beds or with 2 bunk beds (ideal for 4 children) and 1 Family Unit consisting of two bedrooms sleeping, 2 adults and 2 children. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The lodge is fully staffed, complete with multiple lounge areas, a fully stocked bar, snooker table, wi-fi, boma, sauna, music system, TV, tennis table, curio shop, sunken fire pit and a stunning heated swimming pool built into the side of the mountain which is fantastic for children.
Leobo Private Reserve affords the guest the opportunity to get involved in exciting escapades, like darting a buffalo from a helicopter to treat its injury or fighting a bush fire with the rangers without any limits on time. The sheer freedom of going off on your own expedition to explore the surroundings and doing what the spur of the moment offers is exhilarating in itself. This differentiates this particular destination from all others and makes the adventure that much greater.
To relax you can enjoy a rooftop massage or for a deeper wellness experience, Leobo has teamed up with a yoga instructor who can offer wellness in the wild through yoga tuition, guided meditation practice and nutrition advice.
